Kent is also home to Canterbury, famous for its Cathedral, the City of Canterbury dates back to the middle ages and still has original Roman features such as cobbled streets, timber-framed properties and ancient walls.

The Kent coastline is filled with sandy beaches, fish markets and quintessential cottages. Popular tourist areas are Margate, Whitstable, Broadstairs, and the many small coastal resort towns between Folkestone and Rye, Rye is just over the boarder into East Sussex.
