Stretching all the way from the capital city of London to the South East coast – Kent is also known as the ‘garden of England’ with miles of mostly flat countryside. Our Kent inventory clerks can mostly be found visiting properties closer to London in the more metropolitan areas of Dartford and the boarders between Kent and London and Kent and Essex.
Other large notable towns of Kent are Royal Tunbridge Wells, Maidstone, Ashford and surrounding areas. Made popular in recent years with commuters to London thanks to improved transport links, and more recently from Londoners seeking more property and space for their money who spend more time working from home. Our more locally based property inventory clerks have these towns covered in their entirety.
Kent is also home to Canterbury, famous for its Cathedral, the City of Canterbury dates back to the middle ages and still has original Roman features such as cobbled streets, timber-framed properties and ancient walls.
The Kent coastline is filled with sandy beaches, fish markets and quintessential cottages. Popular tourist areas are Margate, Whitstable, Broadstairs, and the many small coastal resort towns between Folkestone and Rye, Rye is just over the boarder into East Sussex.
